Mike Braun founded Braun Painting in 2009. His dedication and commitment to quality quickly resonated with Madison residents. While it began as a one-man show, over the past 15+ years, Braun Painting has grown steadily, maintaining a close-knit team of around 30 skilled professionals. Mike remains the heart and soul of the company. He believes in leading by example and creating a working environment that helps his team thrive personally and professionally.

Mike Braun, Owner
Mike started Braun Painting in 2009 and truly enjoys the team and community-building aspect of business. When not working, Mike coaches his youngest son’s baseball team, hikes, bikes, skis and travels with his family.
Jocelyn Braun, Administrative Coordinator and Co-owner
With a background in public relations, Jocelyn joined Braun Painting in 2012 to bring her organizational skills to the administrative side. She handles billing, payroll, HR, and finances, ensuring the business runs smoothly. A proud mom of three boys, Jocelyn also finds time to serve as a substitute teacher in the Madison Metropolitan School District.
Kari Oberloh, Project Coordinator
Kari has been with Braun Painting since 2017. Her expertise as a project coordinator ensures your project runs smoothly. She’s a proud UW Green Bay graduate and has lived in the Greater Dane County area most of her life. When she’s not coordinating projects, you can find her kayaking in the summer or cozying up around a campfire at her family’s North Woods cabin.
Carl Refsell, Project Manager
Carl has led projects at Braun Painting since 2018, with a focus on efficiency and communication. Beyond his dedication to his work, he cherishes spending time with his wife and two boys. Whether on the soccer field, traveling, or catching an English Premier League game on the weekends, Carl brings his passion and enthusiasm to everything he does.
Erik Rinquist, Estimating & Scheduling Coordinator
Erik has been with Braun Painting since 2012 and serves are the scheduling coordinator and estimator. Erik enjoys Jeep rides in the summer with the top down, watching English Premier League soccer, and can be found on local soccer fields playing goalie. Erik also likes to spend his evenings around a campfire whenever possible.
